In addition to the instructional programs, the Council promotes awareness of literacy issues through its Speaker's Bureau.
The Racine Literacy Council provides speakers for Racine County on various literacy issues that may relate to your organization. These literacy related topics include family literacy, workplace literacy, club and church involvement, persons learning English as their second language and many more.
The Racine Literacy Council can also hold tutor information meetings hosted by your organization. This would be an excellent and convenient opportunity for a potential tutor in your organization to receive information about bringing literacy to adults in the Racine area.
To schedule a Racine Literacy Council speaker or for further information, please contact Kay Gregor at 262-632-9495.
