The Racine Literacy Council is a volunteered-based organization whose mission is to provide adult literacy programs in Racine County and to bring awareness to the community about the importance and impact of literacy.

The primary focus of the Racine Literacy Council is its one-to-one tutoring program by trained volunteer tutors.
