The Racine Literacy Council is a volunteer-based organization that provides adult literacy programs in Racine County and works to bring awareness to the community about the importance and impact of literacy. The primary focus of the Racine Literacy Council is its tutoring program facilitated by trained volunteer tutors.

Celtic Night for Literacy - 2012
The 2012 Celtic Night for Literacy will be held on March 16 at the Racine Marriott hotel, 7111 Washington Avenue (Hwy 20), Racine, WI, 53406.
Entertainment: The Garlic Mustard Pickers featuring Celtic and Irish Music, and the Glencastle Irish Dancers.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Dinner will be served at 6:00 p.m. with the concert following at 7:00. All seats are $35 each.
Tickets are on sale now, and may be purchased online using the selection menu below! For more information, call 262-632-9495. Tickets purchased by March 7 will be mailed to the purchaser; tickets purchased after March 7 may be picked up at the door.
This promises to be a sold-out event; reservations are encouraged by March 8 to ensure a seat!
